Avoiding This Protein Can Have a Huge Impact on Your Health!

28 Jun

As a long-term health care practitioner, I do my best to make people aware of all the possible hidden dangers we’re exposed to in the foods we eat. Without question, one of the substances that top’s the list is gluten.

Gluten is a “garbage” protein found in grains like wheat, barley, and rye that can have detrimental effects on the body. It is known that people with Celiac Disease can not handle gluten, which can cause a serious autoimmune reaction in the small intestine making it harder for the body to absorb nutrients. What most people (including medical doctors) don’t realize is that gluten can be detrimental to people without celiac disease as well. Since Celiac disease is hard to diagnose, it often goes unnoticed allowing the disease to manifest and increase the risk of developing other diseases like:  autoimmune disorders, osteoporosis, neurologic problems, Type 2 diabetes, and even cancer. Some of the symptoms associated with gluten can include: fatigue, digestive issues (constipation, diarrhea, etc.), skin problems, mood swings, and weight gain.

Foods that contain gluten are as follows:

  • Wheat
  • Barley
  • Rye
  • Soy Sauce
  • Foods that say “gluten-free” – due to cross contamination.
  • Processed foods – soups, candies, cold cuts, non-fat or fat free foods.
    • Foods that have Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein (HVP), Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP), and Natural Flavorings in the list of ingredients.

Grains that are naturally gluten-free are as follows:

  • Oats
  • Millet
  • Buckwheat
  • Quinoa
  • Sorghum
  • Flax seed
  • Rice

With the various symptoms I’ve mentioned above, if you’re experiencing other symptoms that don’t seem to go away using conventional methods, try taking gluten out of your diet. Since gluten makes it harder for your body to absorb nutrients from food, you never know if this may be the problem. There are some things in life that can create enormous benefits by doing minimal effort and simply avoiding gluten is one of them.

Check Out My Radio Spot on Get Fit Now!

25 May

Greetings all!

I recently took a trip up to Portland, Oregon for a little fun and relaxation. Upon visiting a good friend and colleague of mine, Dr. Robert Ciprian, he graciously asked if I wanted to be a guest on his daily online radio station called: Get Fit Now. Dr. Ciprian co-hosts with founder Eleni Kehagiaras talking about diet, fitness, and other health related topics.

During the interview we talked about Quantum Kinesiology along other aspects of Applied Kinesiology that can help deprogram our “sick-care medicine” mindset to a more “health-care medicine” one.

I’d like to thank Eleni Kehagiaras and Dr. Robert Ciprian again for having me on their show. It was a great experience and a lot of fun. I recommend checking them out here:

Be well,

What is Quantum Kinesiology?

26 Jan

Your body is composed of more than just its physical state of muscle, bone, and organs. It is also a complex system of subtle planes of matter that vibrate on a subatomic level. These vibrations act accordingly based on what the body is exposed to physically and subconsciously.

Treatment sessions consist of accessing the body on higher levels of vibration and intensity. The dynamic of the sessions help the body optimally recognize itself and its imbalances so it can heal much more efficiently. When higher vibratory frequencies are addressed, the body can fix itself faster and stay fixed for longer periods of time, and with less effort. The goal is to allow your body to adapt to its external environment and express a higher state of health without having to rely on medicine, supplementation or rehabilitation.

The new theory, or Quantum Kinesiology (QK) utilizes quantum mechanics, Eastern medicine, Homeopathy, Applied Kinesiology, Chiropractic and supplementation, while identifying six realms of the body: physical, chemical, structural, emotional, electromagnetic, and spiritual.

The key to optimal physical health is to not only look at the physical state, but the emotional and subatomic (consciousness) states as well. We now know that the body is multidimensional. By combining quantum mechanics, Eastern medicine, Homeopathy, Chiropractic and supplementation, we are now able to address the higher vibrational fields of the body to attain a complete and optimal state of health and wellness.
